WEEKLY - ACTIVE ANTENATAL CLASSES

A weekly class for all those who are pregnant to help you enjoy your pregnancy, stay mobile, learn about your changing baby and body, and prepare for a confident birth.

Becoming a parent can be exciting and challenging. At Bumps in Bloom we understand the mixed emotions you may be feeling. That’s why our Active Antenatal Classes are carefully designed to be gentle and empowering and to ensure you have all the education, tools and support you need.

class DESCRIPTION

Our Weekly Active Antenatal Classes are for expectant mums (from 14 weeks pregnant). Classes are carefully designed to help you enjoy your pregnancy, stay mobile, learn about your changing baby and body, take some time to relax and bond with baby, meet new friends and prepare for a confident birth.

 

Bumps in Bloom takes the best elements of pregnancy yoga, active birth, hypnobirthing, and antenatal classes; and wraps all these together to give you the confidence that you can do this!

 

Learning antenatal education in a traditional way can limit our ability to prepare the body or the mind. To really maximise your preparation and for birthing techniques to be effective, practice is essential. Our Active Antenatal Class education and active birth techniques are delivered in a truly effective way, linking your education to your breath, your body and your movement - exactly where you will need it on your baby's birthing day.

 

These lovely classes are also an opportunity to meet other expectant mums in your area and become part of the Bumps in Bloom Community. Delivered by and experienced Perinatal Teacher. Our Active Antenatal Classes are not only modern, realistic and evidence-based but also packed full of practical tools and techniques to support you through your pregnancy and birth.

Who are the classes for?

​

The Weekly Active Antenatal Classes are for expectant mums only and suitable to attend from 14 weeks pregnant up until baby’s birth. Classes can be adapted to suit all pregnancy related conditions and birth choices. Therefore, they are suitable for everyone, regardless of whether this is your first or your fifth baby.

Maternity Meditation Class

what to expect:

  • Pregnancy yoga-based movements

  • Antenatal and active birth education

  • Breathing techniques and positions for each stage of labour

  • Relaxation and birth hypnosis

  • Pregnancy and birth related tools and techniques throughout

  • Friendship and community

  • All equipment is provided for your comfort including blankets, yoga mats, cushions, yoga blocks

  • A set of positive affirmation cards for pregnancy and birth (handed out in week 1)

 

You’ll also receive support from me through:

  • Follow up email to summarise your workshop plus further information sources to expand your knowledge

  • You’ll be invited to join your terms WhatsApp group and the Bumps in Bloom Community Facebook group

  • Invited to join our Mama Meetups

  • Contact me direct if you have any questions or concerns

  • Receive discounts off our Active Antenatal classes and Nurturing Baby classes
