Class or Workshop Description

The Parent Course - Birth Preparation Only is delivered over the first three weeks of the Full Parent Course starting on Wednesday 30th October. The Birth Preparation Sessions will cover: • Evidence based antenatal education • Breathing techniques, relaxation and hypnobirthing techniques • Movements for labour • Massage techniques for pregnancy and labour • Getting prepared • Role of birth partner • Pain relief • Interventions • Caesarean sections The Parent Course is ideal to attend from around 28 weeks of pregnancy right up until baby’s birth and we support all birth and parenting choices. The ticket price is for the birthing person plus their birthing partner, but you are welcome to attend on your own or with another birth supporter. IMPORTANT CLASS INFORMATION: Investment: Per birthing couple • Birth Preparation (3 x 2.5 hour sessions) £135 When: Wednesday evenings from 7pm-9.30pm Where: Holyrood Early Years Centre, 233 Thelwell New Rd, Grappenhall, Warrington, WA4 2XT Duration: The Birth Preparation part of the Full course is delivered in a series of 3 x 2.5 hour sessions.
